Common use of Vacation Upon Separation Clause in Contracts

Vacation Upon Separation. a. An employee may not use vacation to delay their separation date. b. A regular employee who has not completed their initial probationary period and whose employment with the District is terminated for any reason is not eligible to receive payment for any accrued vacation hours. c. A regular employee who has completed the initial probationary period and whose employment with the District is terminated for any reason will receive payment for any previously accrued and unused vacation pay as part of their final paycheck.
