Minimum Reporting Pay. If an Employee reports for work at the regularly scheduled time for his or her shift and no work is available, such Employee will be entitled to a minimum of four (4) hours pay at the Employee’s regular rate provided that
(a) The Employee has not been previously notified by the Employer to the contrary, either orally or by message left at the Employee’s residence
(b) If requested by the Employer, the Employee shall perform a minimum of four (4) hours of such available work as the Employer may assign.
Minimum Reporting Pay. When an Employee reports for work at his assigned starting time without being told in advance by the Home not to report at said time, then the Employee shall receive work or pay in lieu of work, for four (4) hours during that day. For Employees who are regularly scheduled to work less than four (4) hours the obligation is reduced to the number of hours normally scheduled to work. This obligation on the part of the Home shall cease if no work can be provided due to fire, acts of God or other circumstances beyond the control of the Home, or failure on the part of the Employee to keep the Home informed of his current address and telephone number.
Minimum Reporting Pay. An employee reporting for work on his/her regular shift, or who has been called in to work and reports to work, shall be paid his/her regular pay for the entire period worked, with a minimum of three (3) hours pay if he/she does not commence work because he/she is advised that no work is available, or for reasons beyond his/her control or not personal to his/her, and a minimum of four (4) hours pay if the employee does commence work.
Minimum Reporting Pay. Any employee reporting for work at the call of the Employer and then no work is provided shall nevertheless receive two hours straight-time pay for so reporting, or in the case where an employee has commenced work, the employee shall receive a minimum of two hours straight-time pay. Effective November 1, 2018 minimum reporting pay will increase to four hours straight-time pay.
Minimum Reporting Pay. If an employee reports for work as scheduled but for whom no work at his/her regular job is available, or because a change was made in the schedule without notifying the employee concerned at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance, he/she shall be entitled to a minimum of four (4) hours pay.

(a) The Employee has not been previously notified by the Employer to the contrary, either orally or by message left at the Employee’s residence.
(b) If requested by the Employer, the Employee shall perform a minimum of four (4) hours of such available work as the Employer may assign.
(c) It is understood that reporting pay is not a guarantee of a minimum shift requirement.
Minimum Reporting Pay. 8.01 An employee who is scheduled to work and reports for work in the normal manner, or is called in to work a vacant shift, and is notified upon arrival that no work is available, shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours of pay. The Employer at its discretion may require an employee to stay and complete reasonable duties as assigned for the duration of the four (4) hours.
8.02 The provisions of this Article shall not apply in the case of emergency such as fire or power shortage, which disrupts the operation of the home, nor shall it apply to an employee returning without notice from a long term absence who has not kept the Employer informed of her current address or telephone number.
8.03 The parties agree that any mandatory educational in-service for which employees are required to attend, the employees shall be paid no less than three (3) hours of straight time wages. The Employer shall endeavour to maintain staffing coverage when employees are required to attend an in-service during the hours of their shift.
Minimum Reporting Pay. The Employer agrees that an employee, upon reporting for work at the commencement of his regularly scheduled shift, unless notified in advance not to do so, or unless the employee is returning to work without notice after an absence, shall receive four (4) hours' work or four (4) hours' pay at his regular hourly rate. This provision shall not apply where the Employer is unable to supply work due to emergency circumstances beyond its control. Any employee so affected, shall take such work as is available in order to qualify for such four hours' pay. The Employer agrees that an employee who is called in for an emergency outside of her scheduled hours shall, upon reporting, receive four hours’ work or four hours pay at the appropriate rate. This provision shall not apply where the Employer is unable to supply work due to emergency circumstances beyond its control. Any employee so affected, shall take such work as is available in order to qualify for such four hours pay.
Minimum Reporting Pay. Employees who report for work at the starting time of their scheduled shift, not having previously been advised not to report, shall be guaranteed at least four (4) hours of work or, if no work is available, shall be paid for at least four (4) hours time, at the employee's applicable straight time hourly rate of pay. This provision shall not apply in the following circumstances: When an employee who has been off work does not notify his Department Head or designate of his intention to return to work twenty-four (24) hours in advance of his return; When an employee fails to keep the Employer advised of a telephone number that can be used for the purpose of leaving a message; When work is not available due to circumstances that are beyond the reasonable control of the Employer.
Minimum Reporting Pay. Employees who are required to report to work outside of their regular scheduled shift shall be paid a minimum of two and two thirds (2 2/3) hours at their overtime rate. Such minimum pay guarantee shall not apply when the required work is immediately adjacent to the employees’ schedule work shift.
