Vacations – Interruption. 13.08 (a) All For employees vacation requests for time will normally be allotted between the vacation months of January 15 to December 15 of the same year must be submitted by March 15th of each year. Such vacation requests will be approved by seniority. Approvals will be posted not later than April 15thinclusive, if possible, unless some other time is mutually arranged between the individual employee and the Employer.

Vacations – Interruption. (a) Where an employee's scheduled vacation is interrupted due to a serious illness which requires hospitalization and commenced before and continues into the scheduled vacation period, the period of such illness shall be considered sick leave provided the employee provides satisfactory documentation of the hospitalization.

The finalized vacation schedule will be posted by February 15th.
