Common use of Variation of the Agreement Clause in Contracts

Variation of the Agreement. 2.1 The parties accept that circumstances may arise during the term of this Collective Agreement that warrants variation of this Collective Agreement. 2.2 With respect to Section 54 of the Employment Relations Xxx 0000 the parties have agreed that this Collective Agreement may be varied during its term by agreement. 2.3 Where a party proposes any variation, a written proposal shall be forwarded to the other party. Such a proposal shall outline the variation sought, the reasons for the variation and the likely effect of the variation. 2.4 Any variation agreed to shall be recorded in writing and signed by the parties.
