Common use of Verification of Illness Clause in Contracts

Verification of Illness. The Superintendent or the Superintendent's designee, may, at any time during the leave, require an employee to submit from the employee's physician, pertinent medical records and, at the District's expense, to be examined by a District-appointed physician, psychologist, or other professional to determine if the employee is disabled, mentally or physically, or ill to the extent of being unable to perform the normal daily duties and functions.
