Common use of Verification of Positives Clause in Contracts

Verification of Positives. The MRO will confirm that the laboratory report of a positive result is correct. The MRO, if necessary will: • Review the individual's medical history, including any medical records and biomedical information provided by the employee. • Afford the individual an opportunity to discuss the test results with the MRO or a local designated consulting physician. • Determine whether there is a legitimate medical explanation for the result, including legally prescribed medication. • Request, as needed, pertinent analytical records or require reanalysis of any specimen to verify results.
