Voluntary Regular Part time Benefits. Process for Payment The Employer agrees to provide regular part-time nurses with the option of voluntary participation in any and all of the group health and welfare benefit programs set out in Article 17. It is understood and agreed that the regular part- time nurses who participate will assume the employer and employee monthly costs of premiums. Participation shall be open to any regular part-time nurse who has worked an average of two (2) shifts bi-weekly in the six (6) months prior to submitting the request. Any regular part-time nurse who wishes to participate will provide payment of the benefits either through post-dated cheques provided on a yearly basis or through a preauthorised withdrawal process. It is understood that any transaction would be dated the first of each and every month. The Employer will notify the Union of the benefit costs to regular part-time nurses within one (1) week of the date the Employer is notified.
