Regular Part-Time Scheduling. Nurses who wish to be considered for additional tours must indicate their availability in the manner prescribed by the Hospital. Provided they are qualified, nurses may submit their availability to work additional tours to more than one unit, if to do so is in accordance with existing hospital practice. Before the schedule is posted:
i) All available work at the time of scheduling will be equitably distributed among the regular part-time employees up to their minimum commitment.
ii) Once all regular part-time employees on the unit have been scheduled the minimum commitment, extra tours will then be offered to regular part-time employees on the unit equitably on the basis of seniority.
iii) Any remaining tours after ii) above will then be offered to casual part-time employees on this unit, equitably on the basis of seniority.
iv) Any remaining tours after iii) above will then be offered to regular part-time employees from other units who have made themselves available for additional shifts on this unit, equitably on the basis of seniority.
Regular Part-Time Scheduling. (a) Work schedules of six (6) weeks' duration shall be posted at least six
Regular Part-Time Scheduling i) The Hospital agrees to schedule all available shifts on a unit to regular part-time Employees according to their commitment on the posted schedule of the unit.
ii) All regular part-time Employees in a unit will be scheduled up to their minimum commitment under Article F-11 (a) or (b) by seniority.
A) The schedule will be filled out by scheduling the most senior RPT Nurse on the unit the minimum commitment and proceeding down the RPT list on the unit, scheduling each less senior RPT the minimum commitment until all available hours of work have been scheduled on the unit.
Regular Part-Time Scheduling. The Hospital agrees to schedule regular part-time nurses according to their commitment on the posted schedule. Regular part-time nurses who wish to be pre-scheduled for additional tours over and above their commitment, must indicate their availability, in writing. This availability will remain valid until changed by the nurse. When a regular part-time nurse accepts an additional tour, she or he must report for that tour unless arrangements satisfactory to the Hospital are made. All regular part-time nurses will be scheduled on an equitable basis up to their commitment hours before any casual part-time nurses are utilized.
Regular Part-Time Scheduling. (a) Prior to posting the schedule, all available part-time shifts shall be scheduled equitably based upon hours by seniority to their minimum commitment as per I.2 (b).
(b) Prior to posting the schedule, once all part-time employees have been scheduled up to their minimum commitment as per I.2 (b), additional shifts shall be scheduled in order of seniority to those regular part time employees in each unit who have indicated availability beyond level of commitment (XXXX). Regular part time employees who want additional hours in excess of their minimum commitment must so indicate to the Hospital, in writing twice a year (in February, to include prime summer vacation period and September, to include Christmas and New Years) or at time of hire. Changes to availability will only be accepted due to extenuating circumstances. (XXXX Form)
(c) Each part-time nurse shall express their availability for additional shifts (XXXX) in hours not number of shifts on the XXXX form.
(d) After the posting of the schedule, shifts that become available for any reason after the schedule has been posted will be offered on the basis of seniority to regular part-time employees on the unit.
(e) Where no regular part-time unit employee is willing to perform the available work, the shift will be offered to casual unit employees.
Regular Part-Time Scheduling. (a) Work schedules of six (6) weeks' duration shall be posted at least two (2) weeks in advance.
(b) Prior to the schedule being posted, scheduling of regular part-time will be as follows:
i) According to a defined master in accordance with Article G-1 (a).
ii) Changes to the posted schedule which are requested in writing by a majority of Regular Part-Time “A” nurses on a unit, co-signed by a member of the local executive and approved by the Hospital, may be implemented within the six (6) week period by the Hospital. A change in the posted schedule will include a change in shifts as well as a change in tours.
iii) In the event that changes are made to the master rotation in effect in any unit, the Hospital will provide a copy of the new master rotation to the Bargaining Unit President fourteen (14) days in advance of the posting of the new master rotation. If both the Hospital and the Union have identified a violation of the collective agreement in the new master rotation such violation will be remedied prior to the schedule being posted in the unit.
i) Will be scheduled in accordance with Article G-1(b) by seniority.
(c) After the above has been followed and prior to the schedule being posted, any additional shifts on each unit will be offered (except as outlined in G-2 (f)) on each unit in the following order:
i) Regular part-time on the unit (excluding job-sharers) on the basis of rotating seniority up to seventy-five (75) hours
ii) Nursing Resource Unit nurses who are qualified to perform the available work, up to commitment
iii) Casual nurses assigned to the Unit in a fair and reasonable manner It is understood that the Hospital will not be required to offer shifts which would result in overtime or premium pay.
(d) After the schedule has been posted, additional shifts which become available on each unit will be offered (except as outlined in G-2 (f)) in the following order:
i) Regular part-time on the unit by seniority who have not been scheduled to commitment in accordance with Article G-1.
ii) Regular Part-time on the unit (including job- sharers) on the basis of rotating seniority up to seventy-five (75) hours.
iii) Nursing Resource Unit nurses who are qualified to perform the available work, up to seventy-five (75) hours.
iv) Casual nurses assigned to the Unit in a fair and reasonable manner. It is understood that the Hospital will not be required to offer shifts which would result in overtime or premium pay.

ii) All regular part-time Employees in a unit will be scheduled up to their minimum commitment under Article F-11 (a) or (b) by seniority.
A) All regular part-time category A Nurses in a unit will be scheduled up to their committed hours by seniority before any category B part-time Nurses are utilized. The schedule will be filled out by scheduling the most senior RPT Nurse on the unit the minimum commitment and proceeding down the RPT list on the unit, scheduling each less senior RPT the minimum commitment until all available hours of work have been scheduled on the unit.
B) Once all regular part-time Employees on the unit have been scheduled their minimum commitment, any remaining shifts to be scheduled will be scheduled allocating one (1) shift to each RPT – Category A Nurse on a seniority basis, then allocating one (1) shift to each RPT – Category B Nurse on a seniority basis until all available shifts are scheduled within each posted schedule on the unit
C) 1) Where a regular part-time Employee does not want to be scheduled shifts over and above the minimum part-time commitment, she/he will indicate this in writing to her/his Unit Manager. Such request may be submitted once every six

This commitment shall not be construed as a guarantee of hours or pay by the Employer. The Employer will endeavour, subject to availability of hours, to schedule nurses to this level of commitment conditional upon the nurse making herself available to work as and when scheduled by the Employer.
(b) Provided the work is available, the Employer agrees to schedule regular part- time nurses according to commitment, in a way which best equalizes their hours over a pay period.
