Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Members participating in organized Emergency Search And Rescue (SAR) operations directed by state and/or local authorities may be allowed time off for such activities chargeable to annual leave, or leave without pay, at their option. B. A Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Member who is a volunteer fire department member or emergency medical technician shall notify their supervisor of their volunteer status.
