Common use of Water Main Clause in Contracts

Water Main. 1. Construct, install, furnish, and provide without cost to City, a complete system of water supply and distribution, throughout the development, and including off-site improvements necessary to provide such system, as approved by the Public Works Director or his designee and Public Works Committee and in accordance with the plans and specifications on file in the Public Works & Development Department. 2. Apply for and pay for all necessary permits to use water from hydrants for construction permits, as may be required by the City. 3. Complete to the satisfaction of the City any punch list items concerning the water system prior to connection of any building to the water system.
