WHAT IS THE TERM OF THIS CONTRACT. 4.1 When does this contract start? 4.2 When does this contract end? (a) This contract ends: (i) if you give us a notice stating you wish to end the contract—subject to paragraph (b), on a date advised by us of which we will give you at least 5 but no more than 20 business days notice; or (ii) if you are no longer a small customer: (A) subject to paragraph (b), on a date specified by us, of which we will give you at least 5 but no more than 20 business days notice; or (B) if you have not told us of a change in the use of your energy—from the time of the change in use; or (iii) if we both agree to a date to end the contract—on the date that is agreed; or (iv) if you start to buy energy for the premises from us or a different retailer under a customer retail contract—on the date the market retail contract starts; or (v) if a different customer starts to buy energy for the premises—on the date that customer’s contract starts; or (vi) if the premises are disconnected and you have not met the requirements in the Rules for reconnection—10 business days from the date of disconnection. (b) If you do not give us safe and unhindered access to the premises to conduct a final meter reading (where relevant), this contract will not end under paragraph (a) (i) or (ii) until we have issued you a final bill and you have paid any outstanding amount for the sale of energy. (c) Rights and obligations accrued before the end of this contract continue despite the end of the contract, including any obligations to pay amounts to us.

(a) by signing and returning your Energy Plan Details to us; or (b) by giving us your verbal acceptance of the relevant market offer; or (c) by giving us your acceptance of the relevant market offer electronically (for example, by using our Online Acceptance Form, by email or by SMS); or (d) in any other manner that is consistent with the energy laws. However, energy supply won’t start until the Supply Start Date.

WHAT IS THE TERM OF THIS CONTRACT. 4.1 When does this contract start and end? a) This contract starts on the Acceptance Date and continues for 1 year, unless it is ended earlier by you or us under clause 16. b) If this contract hasn’t ended before the end of the 1 year period referred to in clause 4.1(a), then it will automatically continue for a further 1 year period. This automatic renewal occurs each year until we or you end this contract under clause 16. c) We will start selling you gas (and you must start paying for that gas) on the Supply Start Date, which is either: i. the date your Supply Address is transferred to us (see clause 4.2 for more information) and you start taking supply of gas at your Supply Address; ii. the date your Supply Address is connected to the Distribution System (see clause 4.3 for more information) and you start taking supply of gas at your Supply Address; iii. the date you start taking supply of gas at your Supply Address where we are deemed by Law to be your retailer and you have not entered any non-standard agreement with us; or iv. another date as agreed with you.

(a) In the case of a new connection or an alteration to your existing connection, this contract starts on the date that you accept our connection offer in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 5A of the National Electricity Rules; or (b) If your premises are already connected to our distribution system, this contract starts: (i) if the connection at your premises is energised, on the date you start to take supply of electricity at those premises; or (ii) if the connection at your premises is not energised, on the date your premises become re-energised or reconnected. (c) If your premises have an existing connection to our distribution system and you have been reclassified as a large customer for that premises this contract starts when you receive notice from us of the reclassification.

If you do not give us safe and unhindered access to the premises to conduct a final meter reading (where relevant), this contract will not end under paragraph (a) (i) or (ii) until we have issued you a final xxxx and you have paid any outstanding amount for the sale of gas. Rights and obligations accrued before the end of this contract continue despite the end of the contract, including any obligations to pay amounts to us.

(a) This contract ends: (i) if you give us a notice stating you wish to end the contractsubject to paragraph (b), on a date advised by us of which we will give you at least five but no more than 20 business days’ notice; or (ii) if you are no longer a small customer: Essential Services Commission Energy Retail Code of Practice 135 (A) subject to paragraph (b), on a date specified by us, of which we will give you at least five but no more than 20 business days’ notice; or (B) if you have not told us of a change in the use of your energy— from the time of the change in use; or (iii) if we both agree to a date to end the contract—on the date that is agreed; or (iv) if you start to buy energy for the premises (A) from us under a market retail contract – on the date the market retail contract starts; or
