Common use of Winter Storm Clause in Contracts

Winter Storm. It is recognized that despite their best efforts, some employees may be unable to report to work on time because of blocked highways. In such cases the employees shall notify their supervisor, if possible, of their difficulty and providing they arrive within two (2) hours of the scheduled start time, there will be no reduction from their regular pay. Should they arrive at work after this two (2) hour period, they shall be paid for time actually worked.
