Common use of Withdrawal of Membership Clause in Contracts

Withdrawal of Membership. All members of the bargaining unit, as 16 identified in Article 1 of this agreement may maintain or withdraw at anytime their 17 membership in the OPBA. Newly hired employee have the option of becoming a member 18 of the OPBA immediately upon hire. No employee shall be required to become a 19 member of the OPBA as a condition of their employment. 20 21 ARTICLE 3‌ 22 PROBATIONARY PERIOD
