Work Adjacent to Street Trees. No work adjacent to street trees will be allowed until the Contractor has obtained the required permit from the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (“NYCDPR”). In the event that the Contractor’s milling operations is deemed to interfere with existing tree limbs, as determined by the Engineer in consultation with the Tree Consultant, he will be required to perform maintenance tree pruning on said affected trees as per NYCDPR specifications known as “Horticulture I”, prior to milling. However, no work shall be done under these items without the written consent of the Engineer. In the event of tree root damage caused by the Contractor’s operations, the affected trees shall be pruned by the Contractor to compensate for said tree root damage as per NYCDPR specifications known as “Horticulture I”, at no cost to the City. 000012 No separate payment will be made to the Contractor for the maintenance tree pruning work set forth in this section or otherwise contemplated in this Contract. The work associated with the maintenance tree pruning is a cost which is included in the unit prices bid by the Contractor for the items of Work comprising the Contract.

  • Teaching Staff Assigned to More Than One Building Each Educator who is assigned to more than one building will be evaluated by the appropriate administrator where the individual is assigned most of the time. The principal of each building in which the Educator serves must review and sign the evaluation, and may add written comments. In cases where there is no predominate assignment, the superintendent will determine who the primary evaluator will be.
