Work of Supervisory Employees. ‌ Mr. Xxxx Xxxxxx Plant Chair Unifor, Local 914 PMC Unit At negotiations, it was agreed by the parties that bargaining unit work performed by Supervisors will be reviewed during the term of the Agreement to ensure that Supervisors take on more of a leading and directing role. Please sign a copy of this letter to indicate your agreement to the contents. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING RE: Senior Technicians / Craftsman‌ Mr. Xxxx Xxxxxx Plant Chair Unifor, Local 914 PMC Unit This letter, which forms part of the Collective Agreement, reflects the agreement of the parties concerning the above positions. There are currently eight (8) employees in the bargaining unit who hold this position. We have agreed to eliminate these positions through attrition of the eight (8) incumbents. As current Senior Technicians/Craftsmen leave the employ of the Company, their position will not be replaced. When absent from work, their position will not be replaced. The Senior Technicians/Craftsmen who are paid $52.43 per hour as of certification of the Union will be eligible for the general wage increases applied to other employees in the bargaining unit. Xxxxxx; This will confirm our agreement at negotiations concerning the Company’s contributions to the above funds. Effective the first of the month following the month of ratification, the Company will remit 5 cents ($0.05) for each full time employee’s regular hours of work to the PEL Fund on the quarterly basis. The primary purpose of this fund will be to provide training to bargaining unit members of Plains Midstream. The Union commits to maintain the principles and governance established with the HSIRTF (Health, Safety and Industrial Relations Training Fund) for administration and reporting the PEL activities to the Company including identification of the training programs published quarterly. Effective the first of the month following ratification, the Company will remit 3 cents ($0.03) for each full time employee’s regular hours of work to the CCF.   • Supervisory Employees For the purposes of this Article, the parties agree that Supervisory positions are those that are not excluded under Article 2.0 above and that satisfy the following criteria:

  • SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL All supervisors and foremen shall be excluded from the bargaining unit and will not perform any work which falls within the scope of this Agreement. When supervisors and foremen are appointed, a notice to that effect will be posted and maintained on a bulletin board.

  • Supervisory or Military Service It is understood service with the Armed Forces of Canada in time of war or compulsory military service, or service with the Employer as a supervisory employee does not constitute a break in the continuous service and shall not affect an employee's seniority rights.

  • Labour Management Relations Committee 20.01 The parties recognize that a forum for ongoing discussions during the term of the Agreement can promote more harmonious labour relations between them.

  • Joint Labor/Management Committees Purpose and Membership. Joint Labor/Management Committees are established to provide a forum for communications and problem-solving between the two parties and to deal with matters of a general personnel Union/Employer concern, as well as professional practices within the hospital related to patient care and professional issues. The Committees will work toward the improvement of patient care and recommend ways and means to improve patient care; and will address problems and concerns related to staffing and workloads. The Committees’ function will be limited to an advisory capacity and shall not include any decision making or collective bargaining authority. Committee memberships:

  • Office Employees The normal work day shall consist of a scheduled period of seven (7) hours of work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The normal work week shall consist of five (5) such days, Monday to Friday inclusive. Any clerical Employee assigned to work in the Public Works Yard Office will have his/her hours of work adjusted to coincide with the finishing time of outside Employees.

  • APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE The central parties agree that within sixty (60) days of the commencement of this agreement, a joint local committee consisting of up to three representatives each will be formed to discuss the feasibility of establishing an apprenticeship program(s). If such a program is deemed feasible, the local parties will determine the terms and conditions of such program(s). The joint local committee will seek the availability of any federal or provincial funds to cover the costs of such programs.

  • Medical Appointment for Pregnant Employees 35.9.1 Up to three decimal seven five (3.75) hours of reasonable time off with pay for each appointment will be granted to pregnant employees for the purpose of attending routine medical appointments.

  • Employment Relations Education Leave 26.1 The Employer shall grant leave on pay for employees party to this MECA to attend courses authorised by NZNO to facilitate the employee’s education and training as employee representatives in the workplace. FTE eligible employees as at 1 March each year Maximum number of days of employment relations education leave that we are entitled to allocate as a union 6 – 50 5 51 – 280 1 day for every 8 FTE eligible employees or part of that number 281 or more 35 days plus 5 days for every 100 FTE eligible employees or part of that number that exceeds 280

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.
