Work Related Injury Absence. All accidents or injuries sustained by an employee while on duty shall be reported as soon as practicable to the Employer in order that the Workers' Compensation Board may be notified. When an employee suffers a disabling work injury or required medical attention, the Employer shall pay the employee, according to the principles outlined in Article 10.4 and 10.5, for the day on which the accident occurs.
