Work Scheduling. A. 17.1 All employees covered by this Agreement shall be paid on an hourly basis. Each employee holding a regular assignment will work not less than sixty (60) hours for every two week pay period, and will start on Monday of each week, unless otherwise stated in initial job posting. The standard number starting time for an employee may be established or changed to meet the operational requirements of working hours during any standard TRILLIUM by giving the employee forty-eight (48) hours’ notice of the change.
17.2 Where possible and wherever the requirements of service permit, assignments will be bulletined to work consecutive days and to provide a minimum of two (2) consecutive rest days in a work week with a presumption that Saturday and Sunday are the preferred rest days if the requirement of service permit. Any change in the starting time of an assignment will normally be 40 hourssubject to an employee being given eight (8) hours rest between work shifts.
