Work Year/Instructional Year. 1. Unit members shall provide instruction for one hundred eighty (180) days. In addition, there shall be five (5) days of non-instructional time. The District may require new unit members to attend up to one (1) additional non-instructional day for orientation and preparation prior to the start of the school year. At least one (1) full workday will be delegated to unit member classroom preparation prior to the start of school year without meetings where attendance is required.

  • Work Year The full-time work year for all employees employed in EA and ECE job classes shall be a minimum of 194 work days to correspond with the school year calendar.

  • REGULAR WORK YEAR 1. The annual salary established for employees covered by this Collective Agreement shall be payable in respect of the employees’ regular work year. The regular work year shall be the regular school year as established by the Board and shall not exceed one hundred and ninety-five (195) days in session per school year.

  • Normal Work Year The normal work year for the Administrator shall be Two Hundred Sixty (260) days between July 1 and June 30 annually which will include all student attendance days and teacher work days. The Administrator shall not be entitled to any additional paid days unless specifically required to work beyond the Two Hundred Sixty (260) day contract by the Superintendent or the Board.

  • REGULAR WORK YEAR FOR TEACHERS 20.1 The annual salary established for employees covered by this agreement shall be payable in respect of the teacher's regular work year.
