Common use of Working Out of Classification Clause in Contracts

Working Out of Classification. Any employee who is assigned by appropriate authority to perform all of the duties of a higher paying classification and/or assignment for a continuous period of one (1) day or any portion thereof or longer shall be paid at the first pay step of the higher position for each day worked at the higher classification and/or assignment.
