Common use of Working Out of Rank Clause in Contracts

Working Out of Rank. A member who is temporarily required to perform the duties of a higher ranking position, and who performs the responsibilities of the higher ranking position for more than two (2) hours in a workday, shall be paid at the rate of pay equal to that paid the higher ranking position for all hours worked in the higher ranking position.
