Workload of Librarian Members. The normal full-time workload of librarian Members shall include: (a) The professional practice of academic librarianship, including management of library operations, the supervision of library staff and, when appropriate, teaching; (b) Scholarship and creative activities required to sustain the Member’s teaching, research, and professional librarianship activities; (c) Active service participation in the life of the University and / or the University of Waterloo, professionally related service in the community, and / or professional and / or scholarly organizations. No Librarian Member can be assigned specific research, creative, scholarly, or external professional activities.
