Ranks and Categories of Appointment. All probationary and tenured faculty appointments under this Collective Agreement shall be made in one (1) of the following ranks: Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor. All extended term appointments (ETAs) shall be made at the rank of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, with the exception of ETAs who already hold an appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor at the time of the signing of this Collective Agreement (See Article 14.13 c).) Appointments shall be made in one (1) of the following categories:

  • Types of Appointment 2.01 Appointments may be (a) term appointments or (b) confirmed appointments. The term of every appointment and the termination date shall be clearly stated on the appointment notice received by the appointee.

  • Types of Appointments a. Regular Appointments for positions scheduled to work twelve (12) months per year.

  • Type of Appointment The employee type of appointment (e.g., Career Conditional (CC), Career (C), Temporary (Temp.), Schedule A, etc.).

  • Continuing Appointments A Continuing appointment signifies the right of a Member to continuous employment that may be terminated only through the mechanisms provided in Article 8.

  • Terms of Appointment Subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, the Fund hereby employs and appoints RPS to perform the services and functions described herein in connection with certain Retirement Plan and Retirement Accounts as agreed upon by the parties.

  • Faculty Appointments 5.4.1 On successful completion of the probationary period (unless 6.4 applies), a faculty employee shall be offered a faculty appointment. A faculty appointment means that the appointment shall be continued unless there are exceptional circumstances as specified in 8.4.1 or 6.4.

  • Missed Appointments From time to time it may be necessary for Landlord and Landlord’s authorized agents including, but not limited to, property management personnel, maintenance contractors, appraisers, and real estate agents to gain access to the Property for the purpose of inspecting the Property or performing repairs and Tenant does hereby grant permission to Landlord and Landlord’s authorized agents to enter the Property for these purposes. If Tenant fails to keep a pre-arranged, mutually agreed to appointment allowing access to the property then Tenant agrees to pay Eighty Five and No/100s Dollars ($85.00) per event as liquidated damages to Landlord and such amount shall become due as additional rent under this agreement.

  • Initial Appointments The Company appoints the Trustee as the initial Paying Agent, the initial Registrar and the initial Conversion Agent.

  • Duration of Appointment The Employment shall be deemed to have commenced on the Commencement Date and shall continue unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.

  • Continuing Appointment A continuing appointment shall continue until retirement or until otherwise terminated pursuant to this Agreement.
