Workplace Accident and Injury Insurance - Self Insured. Should the Employer choose not the obtain Workplace Accident and Injury Insurance through WSIB the Employer will obtain Workplace Accident and Injury Insurance with consistent to the Ontario Human Rights Code, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. The Employer obligations, services, support and wage replacement shall remain equivalent to Workplace Safety and Insurance Benefits. This alternate carrier insurance will include an appeal process and the ability to grieve up to an including Arbitration.
