Workplace Safety Insurance Benefits. (WSIB) Top Up Benefits Where a class of employees was entitled to receive WSIB top-up on August 31, 2012 deducted from sick leave, the parties must incorporate those same provisions without deduction from sick leave in the 2014-2017 collective agreement. The top-up amount to a maximum of four (4) years and six (6) months shall be included in the 2014-17 collective agreement. Employees who were receiving WSIB top-up on September 1, 2012 shall have the cap of four (4) years and six (6) months reduced by the length of time for which the employee received WSIB top-up prior to September 1, 2012. For boards who did not have WSIB top-up prior to the MOU, status quo to be determined.
