XXXX OUT Sample Clauses

XXXX OUT. An employee may "cash out" annual leave one time during any calendar year providing that a minimum balance of 80 hours will remain after the cash out and the eligibility criteria outlined in paragraph (H) has been met. The minimum amount an employee may cash out is 20 hours and a minimum of four (4) working days' written notice must be given to process such request. The maximum amount eligible to be cashed out is one-half (1/2) of the annual accrual rate; i.e., assuming all eligibility criteria are met, an employee earning leave at an annual rate of 96 hours per year could cash out up to 48 hours; an employee earning 160 hours per year could cash out up to 80 hours.

XXXX OUT. Starting in December 2017 each employee will be compensated at the regular hourly rate for all accrued and unused holiday hours. Payment shall be made in the first pay check in December. Employees cannot cash out accrued holiday leave at any time except for a hardship provision as noted in 4.4I below or the cash out in the first pay check of December. All holiday hours accrued and unused in 2016 will be paid out in December 2017 with accrued and unused holiday hours from 2017.
