Xxxxxx Procedure. 1. When the Board determines to reduce the number of bargaining unit positions (other than through attrition of bargaining unit members who resign, retire, are on leave or are terminated), the Board shall follow the procedure set forth in this Article rather than that set forth in O.R.C. Ch. 124. The Board shall determine in which classification(s)/level(s) the layoff should occur and the number of bargaining unit members to be laid off in each affected classification/level. For the purpose of layoffs, a noon bus route will be considered as a separate position and the elimination of a noon route shall be considered a layoff.
