suitably qualified person means a person who has professional qualifications, training, skills or experience relevant to the nominated subject matter and can give authoritative assessment, advice and analysis to performance relative to the subject matter using the relevant protocols, standards, methods or literature.
Applicant’s Qualified Investment means the Qualified Investment of the Applicant during the Qualifying Time Period and as more fully described in EXHIBIT 3 of this Agreement.
Legally Qualified Physician means a physician or a Christian Science Practitioner (a) other than an Insured, a Traveling Companion or a Family Member: (b) practicing within the scope of his or her license: and (c) recognized as a physician in the place where the services are rendered.
pre-qualification means the first stage of the Bidding Process involving the submission, opening and evaluation of the Qualification Documents submitted by the Prospective Bidders.
Federally Qualified Health Center means a non-administrative medical facility with a fixed permanent location that is identified on the following search engines and offers health services on a sliding scale payment system: http://findahealthcenter.hrsa.gov or http://www.ihs.gov/ or http://www.aachc.org/.
Data qualifier means a specified character (or string of characters) that immediately precedes a data field that defines the general category or intended use of the data that follows.
Independent Qualified Party means an investment banking firm, accounting firm or appraisal firm of national standing; provided, however, that such firm is not an Affiliate of the Company.
Qualified means that a person holds a certificate, permit or other document equivalent to that which staff in a public school are required to hold to provide special education and designated instruction and services and has met federal and state certification, licensing, registration, or other comparable requirements which apply to the area in which he or she is providing special education or related services, including those requirements set forth in Title 34 of the Code of Federal Regulations sections 200.56 and 200.58, and those requirements set forth in Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations Sections 3064 and 3065, and adheres to the standards of professional practice established in federal and state law or regulation, including the standards contained in the California Business and Professions Code. Nothing in this definition shall be construed as restricting the activities in services of a graduate needing direct hours leading to licensure, or of a student teacher or intern leading to a graduate degree at an accredited or approved college or university, as authorized by state laws or regulations. (Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations Section 3001 (r)).
Minimum Qualifications A person must meet the minimum qualifications of the classification to which he is to be transferred. Employees who have not completed their probationary period shall not be eligible for transfer.
Qualified GIC A guaranteed investment contract or surety bond providing for the investment of funds in the Custodial Account and insuring a minimum, fixed or floating rate of return on investments of such funds, which contract or surety bond shall:
Non-Qualified Stock Option means any Stock Option that is not an Incentive Stock Option.
Qualified nonprofit organization means, with respect to a Project, an organization exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c) (3) or (4) of the Internal Revenue Code, which is not and during the Compliance Period will not be affiliated with or controlled by a for-profit organization, whose exempt purposes include the fostering of low income housing, which owns an interest in the Project, which will materially participate in the development and operation of the Project throughout the Compliance Period, and which is not affiliated with or controlled by a for-profit organization.
Qualified Nurse means a person who holds a valid registration from the Nursing Council of India or the Nursing Council of any state in India.
Qualified United States financial institution means an institution that:
New Qualifying Jobs means the total number of jobs to be created by the Applicant after the Application Approval Date in connection with the project that is the subject of its Application that meet the criteria of Qualifying Job as defined in Section 313.021(3) of the TEXAS TAX CODE and the Comptroller’s Rules.
Non-Qualified Share Option means an Option that is not intended to be an Incentive Share Option.
Qualified small business means an entity, whether organized as a corporation, partnership, or proprietorship, organized for profit with its principal place of business located within this state and which meets the following criteria:
Applicant’s Qualified Property means the Qualified Property of the Applicant to which the value limitation identified in the Agreement will apply and as more fully described in EXHIBIT 4 of this Agreement.
Statement of Qualifications means a written statement submitted to a procurement unit in response to a request for statement of qualifications.
Request for Qualifications means all materials and
Qualified Foreign Entity means a corporation, trust, association or partnership organized outside the
Foreign person means any person (including any individual, partnership, corporation, or other form of association) other than a United States person.
Pre-Qualifying Criteria means the criteria set out in clause 27.3 of this Part C.
Impermissible Qualification means, relative to the opinion or certification of any independent public accountant as to any financial statement of any Obligor, any qualification or exception to such opinion or certification
New Non-Qualifying Jobs means the number of Non-Qualifying Jobs, as defined in 34 TEXAS ADMIN. CODE Section 9.1051(14), to be created by the Applicant after the Application Approval Date in connection with the project which is the subject of its Application.
Disqualified Partnership Any domestic entity classified as a partnership under the Code if any of its direct or indirect beneficial owners (other than through a U.S. corporation) are (or, under the applicable partnership agreement, are permitted to be) Disqualified Non-United States Tax Persons.
