AEGON definition

AEGON means Transamerica Life Insurance Company, AEGON Financial Assurance Ireland Limited, Transamerica Life International (Bermuda) Ltd., Monumental Life Insurance Company, Transamerica Advisors Life Insurance Company, AEGON Global Institutional Markets, plc, LIICA Re II, Inc., Pine Falls Re, Inc., Transamerica Financial Life Insurance Company, Stonebridge Life Insurance Company, and Western Reserve Life Assurance Co. of Ohio; and

AEGON shall have the meaning set forth in the first paragraph of this Agreement.

AEGON means Transamerica Life Insurance Company.

AEGON has all requisite power and authority to execute, deliver and perform its obligations under this Agreement. The execution and delivery by AEGON of this Agreement, and the performance by it of its obligations under such agreement, have been duly authorized. This Agreement has been duly executed and delivered by AEGON and, subject to the due execution and delivery by MONY, this Agreement is a valid and binding obligation of AEGON, enforceable against AEGON in accordance with its terms.
