Air sampling definition

Air sampling means the collection of units of air to determine airborne fiber concentration for purposes of clearance air monitoring as prescribed by this regulation.
Air sampling means the process of measuring the fiber content of a known volume of air collected during a specified period of time. The procedure utilized for asbestos may follow the NIOSH Standard Analytical Method for Asbestos Method 7400 or transmission electron microscopy (TEM) methods in accordance with the requirements established by AHERA.
Air sampling means the process of measuring the fiber content of a known volume of air collected during a specific period of time.

Examples of Air sampling in a sentence

  • Air sampling including four stage certificate of reoccupation, reassurance, background, personal monitoring, inspection.

  • Lot 2 - Air sampling including four stage certificate of reoccupation, reassurance, background, personal monitoring, inspection.

  • Air sampling stations will be placed upwind and downwind of the operations, on the perimeter of the transfer station, and between the TDMS and the general public.

  • Air sampling shall be scheduled and completed within 24 hours of successful visual inspection by the project monitor.

More Definitions of Air sampling

Air sampling means the process of measuring the fiber content of a known volume of air collected during a specific period of time. The procedure utilized for asbestos follows the NIOSH Standard Analytical Method 7400 or the provisional transmission electron microscopy methods developed by EPA and/or NIST which are utilized for lower detectability and specific fiber identification.
Air sampling means the process of measuring the fiber content of a known volume of air collected during a specific period of time. The procedure utilized for asbestos follows the N1OSH Standard Analytical Method 7400 or the provisional transmission electron microscopy methods developed by the USEPA and/or National Institute of Standard and Technology which are utilized for lower detectability and specific fiber identification.
Air sampling means the process of measuring the fiber content or particulate mass of a specific volume of air at a specific point in time.
Air sampling means the process of measuring the fibre content of a known volume of air collected during a specific period of time. The procedure utilized for asbestos follows the WCB Standard Analytical Method 2101 or the provisional transmission electron microscopy methods developed by the USEPA and/or National Institute of
Air sampling means taking a sample or samples of air to determine the presence of asbestos fibers.
Air sampling means the process of measuring the fiber content of a known volume of air collected during a specified period of time. The procedure utilized for asbestos follows the NIOSH Standard Analytical Method 7400 or the Transmission Electron Microscopy Method - AHERA 40 CFR Part 763.
Air sampling means the collection and analysis of samples of air to measure the amounts of various pollutants or other substances in the air. The requirements for Air Sampling are provided in Attachment 1 to these Specifications. All Air Sampling shall be performed by the Project Monitor, as further described in the definition of this term below.
