Alternate Capacity definition

Alternate Capacity means replacement Product which Seller has elected to provide to Purchaser in accordance with the terms of Section 2.3.
Alternate Capacity means any replacement Product which Seller has elected to provide to Buyer from a Replacement Unit in accordance with the terms of Section 4.5.
Alternate Capacity means any replacement Product which Seller has elected to provide to Buyer in accordance with the terms of Section 4.5.

Examples of Alternate Capacity in a sentence

  • If Seller is unable to provide the applicable Contract Quantity for a portion of a Showing Month due to a Planned Outage of the Unit, then Seller shall have the option, but not the obligation, upon written notice to Buyer by the Notification Deadline, to either (a) reduce the Contract Quantity in accordance with the Planned Outage for such portion of the Showing Month; or (b) provide Alternate Capacity up to the Contract Quantity for the applicable portion of such Showing Month.

  • If the Unit experiences such a reduction in Unit NQC and/or Unit EFC, then Seller has the option, but not the obligation, upon written notice to Buyer by the Notification Deadline, to provide the applicable Contract Quantity for such Showing Month from (i) the same Unit, provided the Unit has sufficient remaining and available Product, and/or (ii) Alternate Capacity up to the Contract Quantity.

  • If Seller fails to provide Purchaser with the Contract Quantity and has failed to supply Alternate Capacity to fulfill the remainder of the Contract Quantity during such period, then Seller shall be liable for damages and/or required to indemnify Purchaser for penalties or fines pursuant to the terms of Section 2.5.

  • The Alternate Service Components shall include the Alternate Capacity and corresponding collocation and interconnection services as set forth in the Section entitled Collocation and Interconnection and Exhibit F.

  • With respect to a Contingent Firm RA Product, if Seller does not provide Alternate Capacity in an amount equal to the Contract Quantity for that Showing Month, then Buyer may, but shall not be required to, purchase replacement Product.

  • If the Unit is not available to provide the full amount of the Contract Quantity for any reason, then Seller shall have the option to supply Alternate Capacity pursuant to Section 2.3 to fulfill the remainder of the Contract Quantity during such period.

  • The Monthly Charge for Capacity and Energy for each Month shall consist of the costs of any Alternate Capacity and Alternate Energy for such Month, including the costs of any transmission, transmission losses, ancillary services, and any other transmission-related services associated with making available such Alternate Capacity and delivering such Alternate Energy.

  • No such discontinuance shall be treated as a failure on the part of Square Butte to make Net Capability or Alternate Capacity available or to deliver Energy or Alternate Energy to Minnesota Power or otherwise relieve Minnesota Power from any of its obligations under this Agreement.

  • If the Unit experiences such a reduction in Unit NQC, then Seller shall have the option, but not the obligation, to provide the applicable Contract Quantity for such Showing Month from the same Unit (provided the Unit has sufficient remaining and available Product) and/or Alternate Capacity in accordance with Section 4.5 up to the Contract Quantity.

  • If Seller fails to provide Buyer with Alternate Capacity pursuant to Section 3.6, then Seller shall be liable for damages and/or be required to indemnify Buyer for CAISO costs, penalties or fines pursuant to the terms of Sections 3.8 and 3.9 hereof.


More Definitions of Alternate Capacity

Alternate Capacity means electric capacity made available by Square Butte to Minnesota Power from any source other than Unit #2 when Net Capability cannot be made available to Minnesota Power.
Alternate Capacity shall have the meaning specified in Subsection 2.G(8).
Alternate Capacity means any replacement RA Capacity having equivalent RAR Attributes, LAR Attributes and/or FCR Attributes as the Product provided by the Unit; provided, if any portion of the Designated RA Capacity that Seller is seeking to replace is Designated RA Capacity having RAR Attributes and no LAR Attributes, and no such RAR capacity is available (such capacity shall also include FCR Attributes if this is a Flexible Capacity Product), then Seller may replace such portion of the Designated RA Capacity with capacity having RAR Attributes and LAR Attributes (as well as FCR Attributes if this is a Flexible RA Product).
Alternate Capacity means Product which Seller has elected to provide to Buyer in accordance with the terms of Section 2.3.
