Approved Equal definition

Approved Equal means any equipment or material which, in the opinion of the Architect, is equal in quality, durability, appearance, strength, design, performance, physical dimensions, and arrangement to the equipment or material specified, and will function adequately in accordance with the general design.

Approved Equal means a substitute approved in writing by the TTC’s Representative for an item designated in the Specifications.

Approved Equal means an alternative product/service approved by the Owner as equivalent to that specified in the contract documents.

Approved Equal means equipment and/or components, which will furnish the level of service required. The equal product shall be the same or better than that described. The City shall be the sole judge of suitability.
