Targeting Areas of Concern (AOC) can prioritize spending programs, and direct funds where most needed.
The Permittee shall give notice to the Department as soon as possible of any planned physical alterations or additions to the permitted facility, including alterations or additions which may impact any Hazardous Waste Management Units (HWMUs), Solid Waste Management Units (SWMUs), Areas of Concern (AOCs), or the areas contaminated by them, including voluntary corrective measures to the SWMUs or AOCs listed in Appendix A at the permitted facility as defined in 40 CFR 270.2 as adopted in 15A NCAC 13A .0113.
