Asbestos Laws definition

Asbestos Laws means the common law in all federal, state and local and foreign jurisdictions and other laws in such jurisdictions, and regulations, codes, orders, decrees, judgments or injunctions issued, promulgated, approved or entered thereunder, now or hereafter in effect relating to or concerning asbestos or asbestos-containing material, including without limitation, exposure to asbestos or asbestos-containing material.
Asbestos Laws means the common law in all federal, state and local and foreign jurisdictions and other laws in such jurisdictions, and regulations, codes, orders, decrees, judgments or injunctions issued, promulgated, approved or entered thereunder, now or hereafter in affect relating to or concerning asbestos or asbestos-containing material, including without limitation, exposure to asbestos or asbestos-containing material.
Asbestos Laws means any and all laws (including tort and product liability law), statutes, ordinances, orders, common law, codes, rules or regulations or other pronouncements having the effect of law of any country, state, province, city or other political subdivision thereof or of any Governmental Authority, Environmental Permits, judgments, decrees, injunctions, or binding agreements with any Governmental Authority in any manner relating to Asbestos Materials.

  • Environmental Laws shall not include the applicability of the foregoing to Asbestos other than when the term “Environmental Laws” is used in the definition of Asbestos Laws.

Asbestos Laws means all federal, national, provincial, state or local statutes, laws, codes, common law rules (including, without limitation, personal injury claims, premises liability claims and product liability claims), regulations, ordinances, orders, standards, permits, licenses or requirements (including consent decrees, judicial decisions and administrative orders) pertaining to Asbestos, including, without limitation, those relating to the protection, preservation, conservation or regulation of the environment, the disposal, abatement, encapsulation, handling, transportation, removal, storage, disturbance, dismantling, Release or exposure to Asbestos or imposing requirements relating to public or employee health and safety, including without limitation, any Environmental Laws to the extent that they regulate, apply to or pertain to Asbestos.
Asbestos Laws means any applicable Laws in force on the Closing Date (or in force at an earlier date that are no longer in force but under which the Sellers or the Transferred Entities still have obligations and/or liabilities), relating to asbestos or the risks associated with asbestos.
Asbestos Laws means the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and any other laws relating to the management of, or liability arising from, Asbestos, including any guidance issued in relation thereto, and any amendments, modifications or re-enactments from time to time.

  • Hazardous Materials Laws means any laws, ordinances, regulations, rules, orders, guidelines or policies relating to the environment, health and safety, Environmental Activities, Hazardous Materials, air and water quality, waste disposal and other environmental matters.

  • FDA Laws means all applicable statutes (including the FDCA), rules and regulations implemented administered or enforced by the FDA (and any foreign equivalent).

  • Sanctions Laws and Regulations means any sanctions, prohibitions or requirements imposed by any executive order (an “Executive Order”) or by any sanctions program administered by OFAC.

  • Bye-laws means the bye-laws of the Company, as amended from time to time.

  • Environmental Legislation means any laws, statutes, regulations, orders, bylaws, permits or lawful requirements of any governmental authority with respect to environmental protection;

  • Communications Laws means collectively, the Act, the Rules, and the published and promulgated orders and decisions of the Commission to which Alascom is subject by virtue of its business activities, including but not limited to the Licensing Rules.

  • customs laws means such laws and regulations administered and enforced by the customs authority of each Party concerning the importation, exportation, and transit of goods, as they relate to customs duties, charges, and other taxes, or to prohibitions, restrictions, and other similar controls with respect to the movement of controlled items across the boundary of the customs territory of each Party;

  • Prescribed Laws means, collectively, (a) the Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001 (Public Law 107-56) (The USA PATRIOT Act), (b) Executive Order No. 13224 on Terrorist Financing, effective September 24, 2001, and relating to Blocking Property and Prohibiting Transactions With Persons Who Commit, Threaten to Commit, or Support Terrorism, (c) the International Emergency Economic Power Act, 50 U.S.C. §1701 et. seq., and (d) all other Legal Requirements relating to money laundering or terrorism.

  • Similar Laws has the meaning set forth in Section 3.3(d).

  • Regulatory Laws means the HSR Act, the Xxxxxxx Antitrust Act of 1890, as amended, and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, the Xxxxxxx Act of 1914, as amended, and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, the Federal Trade Commission Act of 1914, as amended, and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, and any other federal, state and foreign statutes, rules, regulations, orders, decrees, administrative and judicial doctrines and other Laws that are designed or intended to prohibit, restrict or regulate actions having the purpose or effect of monopolization or restraint of trade or lessening of competition through merger or acquisition.

  • Economic Sanctions Laws means those laws, executive orders, enabling legislation or regulations administered and enforced by the United States pursuant to which economic sanctions have been imposed on any Person, entity, organization, country or regime, including the Trading with the Enemy Act, the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, the Iran Sanctions Act, the Sudan Accountability and Divestment Act and any other OFAC Sanctions Program.

As used in this Contract: “Release” means spilling, leaking, pumping, pouring, emitting, emptying, discharging, injecting, escaping, leaching, dumping or disposing.
