Should an Employee use five (5) consecutive sick leave days, certification of illness by a licensed medical professional (physician, Physician’s Assistant, Nurse Practitioner) will automatically be required to return to work.
If any nurse has a grievance, the nurse shall first present the grievance in writing to the nurse’s Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date the nurse was or should have been aware that the grievance existed.
Any nurse who is designated to perform the functions of a Charge Nurse, even if an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Unit is on duty, shall receive the Charge Nurse differential for the time so designated by the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager or PCC.
