Available Capability definition

Available Capability has the meaning given the term "available capability" in the ISO Glossary;
Available Capability means: for a generating source asset, the maximum MW that the source asset is physically capable of providing; or for an import source asset, the MW that the pool participant submits in an offer. “available capability” means: for a generating source asset or load sink asset, the maximum MW that the source asset is physically capable of providing; or for an import source asset, the MW that the pool participant submits in an offer.
Available Capability means the available Cmax and Dmax, expressed in whole MWs, that the Energy Storage Facility is capable of accepting Charging Energy and providing Delivered Discharge Energy, respectively.

More Definitions of Available Capability

Available Capability. - means the level of maximum possible output at that time associated with a resource that is not unavailable due to outages or deratings (as defined by NERC), or transmission constraints (as defined by NERC).
Available Capability used in Article II(4) herein, means that portion M of the total capacity of the powerplant that is physically available for generation.

  • Available Flowgate Capability or “AFC” shall mean the rating of the applicable Flowgate less the projected loading across the applicable Flowgate less TRM and CBM. The firm AFC is calculated with only the appropriate Firm Transmission Service reservations (or interchange schedules) in the model, including recognition of all roll-over Transmission Service rights. Non- firm AFC is determined with appropriate firm and non-firm reservations (or interchange schedules) modeled.

  • Available Capacity means the capacity from the Project, expressed in whole megawatts, that is available to generate Product. [For As-Available Product facilities only]

  • Idle capacity means the unused capacity of partially used facilities. It is the difference between: (a) that which a facility could achieve under 100 percent operating time on a one-shift basis less operating interruptions resulting from time lost for repairs, setups, unsatisfactory materials, and other normal delays; and (b) the extent to which the facility was actually used to meet demands during the accounting period. A multi-shift basis should be used if it can be shown that this amount of usage would normally be expected for the type of facility involved.

  • Project Capacity means the AC capacity of the project at the generating terminal(s) and to be contracted with MSEDCL for supply from the Solar Power Project.

  • Overall width of a vehicle means a dimension which is measured according to ISO standard 612-1978, term No. 6.2. In the case of vehicles of category other than M1, in addition to the provisions of that standard, when measuring the vehicle width the following devices shall not be taken into account:

  • Total Transfer Capability or “TTC” shall mean the amount of electric power that can be moved or transferred reliably from one area to another area of the interconnected Transmission Systems by way of all transmission lines (or paths) between those areas under specified system conditions.

  • Installed Capacity or 'IC’ means the summation of the name plate capacities of all the units of the generating station or the capacity of the generating station (reckoned at the generator terminals), approved by the Commission from time to time;

  • Available Revenues means all monies on deposit from time to time (including investment earnings thereon) in (a) the PILOTS Account; and (b) subject to annual appropriation, the EATS Account that have been appropriated to the repayment of TIF Notes, excluding (i) any amount paid under protest until the protest is withdrawn or resolved against the taxpayer or (ii) any sum received by the City which is the subject of a suit or other claim communicated to the City which suit or claim challenges the collection of such sum.
