Award Recipient definition

Award Recipient means the person, entity or entities that are to receive or have received grant funds through an award from the Illinois State Board of Education. The terms "grantee" and "award recipient" may be used interchangeably.

Award Recipient is used in any provision of this Agreement under circumstances where the provision appropriately applies to the heirs, executors, administrators or legal representatives to whom this award may be transferred by will or by the laws of descent and distribution, the term “Award Recipient” shall be deemed to include such person or persons.

Award Recipient means the recipient of a Restricted Stock Award.

Examples of Award Recipient in a sentence

• Whether or not the Company elects to make any such set-off in whole or in part, if the Company does not recover by means of set-off the full amount the Award Recipient owes it, the Award Recipient hereby agrees to pay immediately the unpaid balance to the Company.

• Nothing in this Agreement shall confer upon the Award Recipient any right to continue in the employment of the Company, or to interfere in any way with the right of the Company to terminate the Award Recipient’s employment relationship with the Company at any time.

• The Award Recipient shall inform its employees in writing, in the predominant language of the workforce, of employee whistleblower rights and protections under 41 U.S.C. 4712.

• The Award Recipient waives the right to claim that the provisions of the Plan are not binding upon the Award Recipient and the Award Recipient’s heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives and successors.

• Award Recipient shall take all necessary and appropriate steps to safeguard confidential business information and protect it against disclosure, misappropriation, misuse, loss and theft.

More Definitions of Award Recipient

Award Recipient means an individual to whom an Award has been granted under the Plan.

Award Recipient means an Eligible Individual who has been granted an Award under the Plan and has entered into an Award Agreement evidencing the grant of such Award or otherwise accepted the terms of an Award Agreement, including by electronic acceptance or acknowledgement.

Award Recipient and/or “Recipient” means the Researcher recommended by the Award Panel to receive the Award as the highest achieving Applicant as per the eligibility criteria and terms and conditions of the Research Grant.
