Benefit Termination. Any employee terminating employment (including retirees) shall be entitled to receive the District insurance contribution for the remainder of the calendar month in which the contribution is effective. In cases where separation occurs after completion of the employee’s full contract obligation (i.e. the end of the school/work year), benefit coverage will continue through August 31 of that year. In the event that any unforeseen changes, that are subject to bargaining, regarding SEBB occur during the duration of this agreement, the parties agree to bargain the impact. Should any contract language be found not to be allowed under State law and/or SEBB rules, State law and SEBB rules shall govern.

Examples of Benefit Termination in a sentence

  • Except as otherwise provided herein, the Company shall have no obligation to provide any non-pension retiree benefits to Union Retirees after the Retiree Benefit Termination Date, except for the payment of claims incurred by Union Retirees through the Retiree Benefit Termination Date and presented for payment no later than six months following the Retiree Benefit Termination Date.

  • On and as of the Retiree Benefit Termination Date, the Company will cease to sponsor or provide any LTD Benefits for Union Disableds, and except as otherwise provided herein, the Company shall have no obligation to provide any LTD Benefits to Union Disableds after the Retiree Benefit Termination Date.

  • On the Retiree Benefit Termination Date, the Company will cease to sponsor or provide any non-pension retiree benefits for Union Retirees.

  • Notwithstanding any election of a form of payment by the Participant, Specified Date Benefits that have not commenced as of the Participant’s Separation from Service will be paid according to the payment schedule for the Retirement Benefit, Termination Benefit or Death Benefit, whichever applies to the Participant upon his or her Separation from Service.

  • Dana shall be financially responsible for reasonable costs associated with the Committee’s fees and expenses, and educational efforts and communications with respect to Retirees conducted at the Union’s request, creation of administrative procedures, initial development of record sharing procedures, the testing of computer systems, vendor selection and contracting, and other activities, incurred on and before the Retiree Benefit Termination Date.

  • The Normal Retirement Benefit, Early Retirement Benefit Termination Benefit, and Disability Retirement Benefit for each FMC Participant who is not an Employee and who does not complete an Hour of Service on or after May 1, 2001 shall, notwithstanding the provisions of Sections 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 4.2 or 5.2 hereof, equal the accrued benefit of such FMC Participant as transferred from the FMC Plan in the FTI Spinoff.

  • On the Union Retiree Benefit Termination Date, the Reorganized Debtors, in accordance with the Union Settlement Agreements, will cease providing and paying (1) all retiree benefits (as defined in section 1114(a) of the Bankruptcy Code) to all UAW and USW-represented retirees and (2) all long term disability income and medical benefits to individuals who are Union Disableds (as defined in the Union Settlement Agreements).

Related to Benefit Termination

  • Employment Termination means the effective date of: (i) Executive’s voluntary termination of employment with the Company with Good Reason, or (ii) the termination of Executive’s employment by the Company without Good Cause.

  • Normal Termination means termination of employment or service with the Company and Affiliates: (i) by the Optionee; (ii) upon retirement; (iii) on account of death or Disability; or (iv) by the Company, a Subsidiary or Affiliate without Cause.

  • Employment Termination Date means, with respect to a Participant, the first day upon which the Participant no longer has an employment or service relationship with the Company or any Related Company.

  • Post-Termination Period means a period of 12 months (subject to extension as set forth in Section 8(f)) following the effective date of the termination of Executive’s employment.

  • Disability Termination means termination by the Company of the Executive’s employment by reason of the Executive’s incapacitation due to disability. The Executive will be deemed to be incapacitated due to disability if at the end of any month the Executive is unable to perform substantially all of the Executive’s duties under this Agreement in the normal and regular manner due to illness, injury or mental or physical incapacity, and has been unable so to perform for either (i) three consecutive full calendar months then ending, or (ii) 90 or more of the normal working days during the 12 consecutive full calendar months then ending. Nothing in this paragraph alters the Company’s obligations under applicable law, which may, in certain circumstances, result in the suspension or alteration of the foregoing time periods.

  • Good Reason Termination means a termination of employment or service initiated by the Participant upon or after a Change of Control upon one or more of the following events:

  • Compensation Accrued at Termination means the following:

  • Termination Compensation means a monthly cash amount equal to one-twelfth ( 1/12th) of the highest amount of the annual cash compensation (including cash bonuses and other cash-based compensation, including for these purposes amounts earned or payable whether or not deferred) received by Executive during any one of the three (3) calendar years immediately preceding the calendar year in which Executive’s Termination Date occurs; provided, that if the cash compensation received by Executive during the Termination Year exceeds the highest amount of the annual cash compensation received by Executive during any one of the immediately preceding three (3) consecutive calendar years, the cash compensation received by Executive during the Termination Year shall be deemed to be Executive’s highest amount of annual cash compensation. In no event shall Executive’s Termination Compensation include equity-based compensation (e.g., income realized as a result of Executive’s exercise of non-qualified stock options or other stock based benefits).

  • Termination Benefits means the benefits described in Section 4.1(b).

  • Voluntary Termination means termination by the Employee of the Employee's employment with the Company, excluding termination by reason of Employee's death or disability as described in Sections 2.5 and 2.6.

  • Involuntary Termination of Employment means the Termination of Service by the Company or Subsidiary other than a termination for Cause, or termination of employment by a Participant Employee for Good Reason.

  • Covered Termination means the termination of Executive’s employment by the Company without Cause or by Executive for Good Reason, and shall not include a termination due to Executive’s death or disability.

  • Involuntary Termination means a termination of your employment with the Company pursuant to either (i) a termination initiated by the Company without Cause, or (ii) your resignation for Good Reason, and provided in either case such termination constitutes a Separation from Service. An Involuntary Termination does not include any other termination of your employment, including a termination due to your death or disability.

  • Involuntary Termination Without Cause means Executive’s dismissal or discharge other than for Cause. The termination of Executive’s employment as a result of Executive’s death or disability will not be deemed to be an Involuntary Termination Without Cause.

  • Qualifying Termination of Employment means a Participant’s Termination of Employment (i) by the Company without Cause or (ii) by the Participant with or without Good Reason or by reason of Retirement.

  • Constructive Termination means:

  • Benefit Period means the period of time from the date of the Accident causing the Injury for which benefits are payable, as shown in the Schedule of Benefits, and the date after which no further benefits will be paid.

  • Service Termination Date means the last Day in a month upon which Service shall terminate, as set forth in a Schedule of Service and subject to any renewal thereof.

  • Constructive Termination Without Cause means a termination of the Executive's employment at his initiative as provided in this Section 10(c) following the occurrence, without the Executive's written consent, of one or more of the following events (except as a result of a prior termination):

  • Automatic Termination shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.3.2.

  • Qualified Termination means the Executive’s employment by the Company is terminated, (i) by the Executive for Good Reason or (ii) by the Company for any reason other than for Cause, death, Disability, or retirement at or after age 65.

  • Voluntary Termination for Good Reason means the Employee voluntarily resigns after the occurrence of any of the following (i) without the Employee’s express written consent, a material reduction of the Employee’s duties, title, authority or responsibilities, relative to the Employee’s duties, title, authority or responsibilities as in effect immediately prior to such reduction, or the assignment to Employee of such reduced duties, title, authority or responsibilities; provided, however, that a reduction in duties, title, authority or responsibilities solely by virtue of the Company being acquired and made part of a larger entity (as, for example, when the Senior Vice-President of a business unit of the Company remains as such following a Change of Control) shall not by itself constitute grounds for a “Voluntary Termination for Good Reason;” (ii) without the Employee’s express written consent, a material reduction, without good business reasons, of the facilities and perquisites (including office space and location) available to the Employee immediately prior to such reduction; (iii) a reduction by the Company in the base salary of the Employee as in effect immediately prior to such reduction; (iv) a material reduction by the Company in the aggregate level of employee benefits, including bonuses, to which the Employee was entitled immediately prior to such reduction with the result that the Employee’s aggregate benefits package is materially reduced (other than a reduction that generally applies to Company employees); (v) the relocation of the Employee to a facility or a location more than thirty-five (35) miles from the Employee’s then present location, without the Employee’s express written consent; (vi) the failure of the Company to obtain the assumption of this agreement by any successors contemplated in Section 7(a) below; or (vii) any act or set of facts or circumstances which would, under California case law or statute constitute a constructive termination of the Employee.

  • Termination of Employment means that the Executive ceases to be employed by the Company for any reason, voluntary or involuntary, other than by reason of a leave of absence approved by the Company.

  • Termination Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 7.

  • Disability retirement for plan 1 members, means the period

  • Nonqualifying Termination means a termination of the Executive’s employment (1) by the Company for Cause, (2) by the Executive for any reason other than a Good Reason, (3) as a result of the Executive’s death or (4) by the Company due to the Executive’s absence from his duties with the Company on a full-time basis for at least 180 consecutive days as a result of the Executive’s incapacity due to physical or mental illness.
