Broadly Comparable Scheme definition

Broadly Comparable Scheme means the pension scheme or schemes nominated by WEPCo (or any relevant Partnering Subcontractor) in accordance with paragraph 2.7 of Section 1 (General) of Schedule 15 (Transfer of Employment and Pensions);

More Definitions of Broadly Comparable Scheme

Broadly Comparable Scheme means either (i) an occupational pension scheme which provides defined benefits which are “broadly comparablefor the purposes of Old Fair Deal to the benefits the UK Former Public Sector Employees were entitled to under their applicable public sector pension scheme; or (ii) a public sector pension scheme providing like benefits; and (vi) “Old Fair Deal” means the UK documents entitled “Staff Transfers from Central Government: A Fair Deal for Staff Pensions” published by Her Majesty’s Treasury in June 1999 and “A Fair Deal staff pensions: procurement of Bulk Transfer Agreements and Related Issues” published by Her Majesty’s Treasury in June 2004.
Broadly Comparable Scheme means the pension scheme or schemes to be provided by the Employer in accordance with paragraph 2.7.2 of Section 1 (General) of Schedule Part 16 (Transfer of Employment and Pensions) (or, where the context so requires, the trustees for the time being of such scheme)
