Building Design Manual means such manual as referred to in 91.1; "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Trustee Committee;

  • Design Manual means the MOHLTC design manual or manuals in effect and applicable to the development, upgrade, retrofit, renovation or redevelopment of the Home or Beds subject to this Agreement.

  • Building Drain means that part of the lowest horizontal piping of a drainage system which receives the discharge from soil, waste, and other drainage pipes inside the walls of the building and conveys it to the building sewer, beginning five (5) feet (1.5 meters) outside the inner face of the building wall.

  • Base Building shall include the structural portions of the Building, the public restrooms and the Building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and equipment located in the internal core of the Building on the floor or floors on which the Premises are located. Tenant shall promptly provide Landlord with copies of any notices it receives regarding an alleged violation of Law. Tenant shall comply with the rules and regulations of the Building attached as Exhibit E and such other reasonable rules and regulations adopted by Landlord from time to time, including rules and regulations for the performance of Alterations (defined in Section 9).

  • Maximum design heat input means the ability of a unit to combust a stated maximum amount of fuel per hour on a steady state basis, as determined by the physical design and physical characteristics of the unit.

  • Tenant Improvements Defined in Exhibit B, if any.

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.

  • Building Plans means the general building plans in respect of the Development or in respect of any part or parts of the Development prepared by the Authorized Person and approved by the Building Authority and includes any amendments thereto from time to time approved by the Building Authority;

  • Base Building Work means the base building work for the Building as described in this Manual.

  • Work Letter means the work letter between Landlord and Tenant regarding the construction of the Tenant Improvements in the form of Exhibit D attached hereto.

  • piece-work means any system by which earnings are calculated upon the quantity or output of work performed;

  • Space Plan means the space plan to be prepared by Tenant in accordance with paragraph 2 below and approved by Landlord and Tenant, and showing the general configuration of the Tenant Improvements.

  • Design-Build Agreement means the design and construction agreement between Project Co and the Design-Builder, a certified copy of which has been delivered by Project Co to the Authority, as amended, supplemented or replaced from time to time in accordance with this Agreement;

  • Site Plan means a document or map that may be required by a county during a preliminary review preceding the issuance of a building permit to demonstrate that an owner's or developer's proposed development activity meets a land use requirement.

  • Building system means plans, specifications and docu- mentation for a system of manufactured building or for a type or a system of building components, which may include structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and variations which are sub- mitted as part of the building system.

  • Site Improvements means any construction work on, or improvement to, streets, roads, parking facilities, sidewalks, drainage structures and utilities.

  • Design Standards means the standards developed as a requirement of the Programmatic Agreement

  • drainage work means any watercourse and includes any land which is expected to provide flood storage capacity for any watercourse and any bank, wall, embankment or other structure, or any appliance, constructed or used for land drainage or flood defence;

  • Standard Specifications means a compilation in book form of specifica- tions approved for general application and repetitive use;

  • Major Alteration means change other than repair or replacement of building materials or equipment with materials and equipment of a similar type.

  • Design-build means a project delivery method in which the detailed design and subsequent construction is provided through a single contract with a Design-Build firm; a team, partnership, or legal entity that includes design professionals and a builder. The Design-Build Project delivery shall be implemented in accordance with Tex. Gov’t Code § 2166.2531.2

  • Project Implementation Manual or “PIM” means the manual setting out the measures required for the implementation of the Project, as the same may be amended from time to time, subject to prior approval of the Association;

  • Tenant’s Work means all improvements, alterations, fixture, equipment, and signage installation, and furniture placement necessary or appropriate for the conduct of the Permitted Use, including all work described as Tenant’s Work on Exhibit D, attached (the “Work Letter”).

  • Design Guidelines means the Fernkloof Estate architectural design guidelines to control all aspects of design and landscaping of any development within the Fernkloof Estate dev elopment, as amended from time to t ime in terms of the constitution of the MPOA or as required by the Council , a copy of the current draft which i s av ailable for inspection at the offices of the Association;

  • Plans and Specifications means the plans, drawings and specifications reasonably necessary to properly assess and review proposed Work prior to issuance of any approval that may be required under this Agreement;

  • Building Work has the meaning given to it in section 6 of the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth);

  • Building Common Areas means with respect to the Tower, the areas, facilities and amenities specified in Schedule [E] which are to be used and enjoyed in common with all the other Apartment Acquirers of the Units in the Building; and
