CAISO Balancing Authority Area has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff. “CAISO Certification” means the certification and testing requirements for a storage unit set forth in the CAISO Tariff that are applicable to the Facility, including certification and testing for all Ancillary Services, PMAX, and PMIN associated with such storage units, that are applicable to the Facility.

Examples of CAISO Balancing Authority Area in a sentence

  • Once the Small Generating Facility has been authorized to commence parallel operation, the Interconnection Customer shall abide by all rules and procedures pertaining to the parallel operation of the Small Generating Facility in the CAISO Balancing Authority Area, including, but not limited to; 1) the rules and procedures concerning the operation of generation set forth in the CAISO Tariff for the CAISO Controlled Grid and; 2) the Operating Requirements set forth in Attachment 5 of this Agreement.

  • Balancing Authority Area means the collection of generation, transmission, and loads within the metered boundaries of the Balancing Authority. The Balancing Authority maintains load-resource balance within this area.
