Canadian Unfunded Pension Liability definition

Canadian Unfunded Pension Liability any unfunded wind up deficiency as identified in (a) the most recent actuarial valuation report for the purposes of the PBA, or (b) any wind up report for the purposes of the PBA, and filed or required to be filed with any applicable Governmental Authority in respect of any Canadian Pension Plan.
Canadian Unfunded Pension Liability means, at a point in time, with respect to any Canadian Defined Benefit Plan, the greater of the solvency deficiency or the windup deficiency as determined by a professional actuary in the actuarial valuation most recently filed with a Government Authority for the purposes of the Pension Benefits Act (Ontario) or such other provincial pension standards legislation that may be applicable to the funding and solvency requirements of that plan.
Canadian Unfunded Pension Liability of any Canadian Defined Benefit Plan shall mean a solvency deficiency within the meaning of the Pension Benefits Act (Ontario) or other similar legislation in any other jurisdiction of Canada applicable to the Canadian Defined Benefit Plan, determined as of the end of the most recent plan year of the Canadian Defined Benefit Plan.
