Card Associations definition

Card Associations means (i) Bank Card Associations and (ii) Other Card companies (e.g. Discover, JCB, American Express, debit card networks or links) and any other card association or similar entity with whom the Company and/or any of its Subsidiaries may have a contract for processing and/or facilitating settlement of transaction media (including direct send contracts with Bank Card issuing banks) generated by holders of cards or similar instruments issued by licensees of such groups.
Card Associations means and include Master Card, Visa, Diners, and Amex etc. which authorizes and enables card transactions.
Card Associations means VISA, MasterCard, and/or any other card associations that the Banks may subscribe with from time to time;

  • Upon termination of the Merchant Agreement by Merchant or Bank, Bank may retain sufficient funds to satisfy any and all Processing Fees, Chargebacks, Credit Transaction Receipts, Damages, and any and all additional fees, and sums sufficient to reimburse Bank for the amount of any fines, penalty amounts and charges due the Card Associations or other obligations or liabilities arising under the terms of the Merchant Agreement.
