Catering operation definition

Catering operation. , as defined in this rule, means a food truck that contracts with a client for food service to be provided to the client or the client's guests or customers at a private event on private property. A catering operation does not include services routinely provided at the same location, or meals that are purchased individually by guests or customers.
Catering operation means a person who contracts with a client to prepare a specific menu and amount of food in an approved and permitted food establishment for service to the client's guests or customers at a service location different from the permitted food establishment. Catering may also include cooking or performing final preparation of food at the service location.
Catering operation means any operation involved in the sale and/or distribution of food prepared in bulk in one location for service in individual portions at another, or, which involves preparation and/or service of food on public or private premises not under the ownership or control of the operator of such service.
