Food Service definition

Food Service means the distribution of prepared foods for consumption, including those food items prepared at the child care center; received by the center from approved food establishments; milk placed in a pitcher or other serving container; ice transported, stored and dispensed; bagged lunches sent from home; and the use of utensils to minimize direct food contact.
Food Service means the storage, preparation, service, and clean up of food intended for consumption in a facility either by facility staff or through a formal agreement that meals will be regularly catered by a third party.
Food Service means the goods and services customarily offered by restaurants, cafeterias, snack bars or vending machines for food or beverages.
