Under this normal course issuer bid, Brookfield Renewable is permitted to repurchase up to 10% of the total public float for each respective series of its Class A Preference Units.

CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE CLASS A PREFERENCE SHARES, SERIES 7 AS A SERIES Dividends The holders of the Class A Preference Shares, Series 7 are entitled to receive fixed cumulative preferential cash dividends, accruing daily, as and when declared by the board of directors, payable quarterly on the last day of March, June, September and December in each year in an amount per share equal to 8 1/2% per annum applied to the price of C$25.00 per share.
