However, teacher participation in extra-curricular activities is voluntary. Should a teacher decide to participate in such activities, the teacher will not be paid for such service and extra-curricular activities shall not count toward assigned time. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #11: COLONY TEACHERS ACCESS TO CELL PHONES AND COPYING SERVICES The School Division proposes to provide a letter to colony principals outlining the current options available to administrators regarding cell phones, photocopying, and colour copies. A copy of this letter will be provided to the Negotiating Sub-Committee LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #12: ALIGNED CALENDAR FRIDAYS: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES AND STRUCTURE The School Division will maintain an administrative procedure that addresses how aligned calendar Fridays are to be used. LETTERS OF INTENT: LOCAL LETTER OF INTENT #1 1977 ADMINISTRATOR ALLOWANCES This letter of intent is attached to and forms part of the collective agreement between the School Division and the Association. XXXXXX SCHOOL DIVISION AND THE ALBERTA TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION The School Division agrees to maintain Policy D-140 and all applicable regulations and schedules therein. This policy will remain subject to the policy review process as outlined in Policy A-130 wherein the Board of Trustees exercise sole and exclusive authority to authorize any changes to Policy D-140. The next scheduled review of this policy is in the 2025–2026 school year, and it is the intent of the parties that this Letter of Understanding will prevail at least until this review or should Deferred Salary Leave be placed on the Central List of Matters, it is addressed through that process.
