Codexis Technology definition

Codexis Technology means (a) Codexis Enzyme, (b) Codexis Process, and (c) Codexis Inventions, including, in each case, any intellectual property rights embodied therein.
Codexis Technology means (a) the Shuffling Technology and any improvements to the Shuffling Technology developed by employees of or consultants to Shell and/or employees of or consultants to Codexis in performance of the Program; and (b) any other Technology that is or was (i) developed by employees of or consultants to Codexis, alone or jointly with Third Parties, prior to or during the Term outside the scope of activities described in any Research Plan; or (ii) acquired during the Term by purchase, license, assignment or other means from Third Parties by Codexis, in each of case (b)(i) and (b)(ii), introduced by Codexis into the activities to be conducted under any Research Plan.
Codexis Technology means the Codexis Patents and the Codexis Know-How. For clarification, Codexis Technology includes the Codexis Foreground IP.

  • Codexis Technology shall constitute the Confidential Information of Codexis.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, Customer has no rights to improve or modify the Codexis Technology.

  • Except for the rights expressly granted in this Agreement, no right, title or interest of any nature whatsoever is or shall be granted whether as a result of sale or transfer, by implication, estoppels, reliance or otherwise, with respect to the Codexis Technology.

  • All rights with respect to Codexis Technology that are not specifically granted in this Agreement are reserved to Codexis.

Codexis Technology means (a) the Licensed Patents, and (b) know-how and other information further to the Licensed Patents required to implement the manufacturing process of making Intermediate from the Codexis Enzyme as described in [***].
Codexis Technology means the Codexis Know-How, the Codexis Patent Rights, and any discovery, invention, contribution, method, finding, or improvement, whether or not patentable, and all related know-how, that is conceived, reduced to practice, or otherwise developed by Arch, either solely or jointly with Codexis and/or a Third Party, during the Term that relate to Product, Codexis Technology, and/or Codexis Enzymes.
Codexis Technology means (a) the Shuffling Technology and any improvements to the Shuffling Technology developed by employees of or consultants to Shell and/or employees of or consultants to Codexis in performance of the Program; and (b) any other Technology that is or was (i) developed by employees of or consultants to Codexis, alone or jointly with Third Parties, prior to or during the Term outside the scope of activities described in any Research Plan; or (ii) acquired during the Term by purchase, license, assignment or other means from Third Parties by Codexis, in each of case (b)(i) and (b)(ii), introduced by Codexis into the activities to be conducted under any Research Plan. Related to Codexis Technology

  • Licensor Technology means the Licensor Patents, the Licensor Know-How, Licensor Materials, Product IP, and Licensor’s rights in the Program IP and Joint Patents.

  • Licensed Technology means the Licensed Know-How and Licensed Patents.

  • Company Technology means all Technology owned or purported to be owned by the Company.

  • Joint Technology means Joint Inventions and Joint Patents.

  • New Technology means any invention, discovery, improvement, or innovation that was not available to the District on the effective date of the contract, whether or not patentable, including, but not limited to, new processes, emerging technology, machines, and improvements to or new applications of existing processes, machines, manufactures and software. Also included are new computer programs, and improvements to, or new applications of, existing computer programs, whether or not copyrightable and any new process, machine, including software, and improvements to, or new applications of, existing processes, machines, manufactures and software.

  • Customer Technology means Customer's proprietary technology, including Customer's Internet operations design, content, software tools, hardware designs, algorithms, software (in source and object forms), user interface designs, architecture, class libraries, objects and documentation (both printed and electronic), know-how, trade secrets and any related intellectual property rights throughout the world (whether owned by Customer or licensed to Customer from a third party) and also including any derivatives, improvements, enhancements or extensions of Customer Technology conceived, reduced to practice, or developed during the term of this Agreement by Customer.

  • Patent Rights means the rights and interests in and to issued patents and pending patent applications (which, for purposes of this Agreement, include certificates of invention, applications for certificates of invention and priority rights) in any country or region, including all provisional applications, substitutions, continuations, continuations-in-part, divisions, renewals, all letters patent granted thereon, and all reissues, re-examinations and extensions thereof, and all foreign counterparts of any of the foregoing.

  • Licensed IP means the Intellectual Property owned by any person other than the Corporation and to which the Corporation has a license which has not expired or been terminated;

  • Technology means any and all technical information, specifications, drawings, records, documentation, works of authorship or other creative works, ideas, algorithms, models, databases, ciphers/keys, systems architecture, network protocols, research, development, and manufacturing information, software (including object code and source code), application programming interfaces (APIs), innovations, mask works, logic designs, circuit designs, technical data, processes and methods.

  • Background IP means all IP and IP Rights owned or controlled by Seller prior to the effective date or outside the scope of this Contract.

  • Technology Rights means BOARD's rights in any technical information, know-how, processes, procedures, compositions, devices, methods, formulae, protocols, techniques, software, designs, drawings or data created by the inventor(s) listed in Exhibit I at UTMDACC before the EFFECTIVE DATE, which are not claimed in PATENT RIGHTS but that are necessary for practicing PATENT RIGHTS.

  • Licensed Patents means (a) all United States patents and patent applications listed in Exhibit A, as modified pursuant to Section 2.6.1, including patents arising from such patent applications; and (b) any re-examination certificates thereof, and their foreign counterparts and extensions, continuations, divisionals, and re-issue applications; provided that “Licensed Patents” will not include any claim of a patent or patent application covering any Manufacturing Technology.

  • Foreground IP means all intellectual property and Intellectual Property Rights generated under these Terms; and
