Commission Comment. With respect to the former references to the “chief” of Labor, the “director” of the Department of Commerce and Labor and the “Director of Public Health and Environmental Services,” see Executive Order 94-3 (effective Aug. 23, 1994), reorganizing the executive branch, changing agency names and official titles, and effecting other changes, set forth in the Commission comment to 1 CMC § 2001; see also the comment to 3 CMC § 4421. PL 11-97 took effect on September 14, 1999, but see section 9 of PL 11-97 that provided as follows:
Commission Comment. The Commission changed the capitalization of the section title pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(f). The Commission changed “Section 116 of this chapter” to “4 CMC § 52016” in (a)(7) pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(c) and (g).
