Effective August. 16, 2020 the hourly rates of pay for the 2019-2020 school year for the above identified classifications will be increased by the state IPD or two percent (2%) whichever is greater.
Effective August. 31, 2012, each full-time teacher shall receive 240 minutes of preparation time per cycle of five (5) instructional days.
Effective August. 16, 2021 the hourly rates of pay for the 2020-2021 school year for the above identified classifications will be increased by the state IPD or two percent (2%) whichever is greater.
Section A.1.18.3 Bus drivers shall receive the hourly rate of pay corresponding to their calendar years of service as set forth above. Drivers certified by OSPI as authorized school bus drivers at the time of their initial hire and who were employed in Washington State in such capacity within the six (6) months immediately preceding their employment with the District shall be eligible to use such previous experience in determining placement on the salary schedule.
Effective August. 31, 2018, leave with pay and benefits for one day per school year shall be granted to teachers to provide care for a family member, make arrangements for medical care of a family member, or attend to other legal or business issues necessary for long-term or emergent support of a family member. Family members include a spouse, parent, spouse’s parent, child or a member of the teacher’s household.
Effective August. 1, 2004, salary schedule advancement can be based on either in-service or college credit, or a combination thereof. Only credit hours earned since the last educational advancement on the salary schedule qualify.

Effective August. 1, 2002 the Employer will began providing provide health insurance coverage to all part- time employees, not covered by a Union plan, who retire on or after that date. This section will not apply to any employee who retires on or after January 1, 2014. To the extent coverage would have been available under this section 1(k), the employee instead shall be eligible for retiree coverage through the Central States Health & Welfare Plan.
Effective August. 15, 2013, the maximum value of all waivers awarded to the dependent daughters, dependent sons and dependent spouses of Faculty and Professional Support Employees shall not exceed forty thousand dollars ($40,000) in any academic year.
