Committed Firm Service definition

Committed Firm Service means a service not subject to prorationing except where operational factors or events of force majeure reduce the Joint Tariff Capacity, as set forth in Rule 31(i).
Committed Firm Service means transportation service provided by Transporter under this Tariff with respect to each Committed Firm Shipper’s Actual Shipments that are exempt from apportionment under Item No. 15.

Examples of Committed Firm Service in a sentence

  • For avoidance of doubt, the Committed Firm Service Rate shall apply to Shipper’s Committed Volume even if the Committed Volume is reduced below the minimum Committed Volume due to Temporary and/or Permanent Releases or Pre-In-Service Barrels.

  • Any Committed Firm Service Rate shall be greater than any Uncommitted Rate.

  • Carrier shall have the right to interrupt Receipts and Deliveries of Shipper’s Crude Petroleum, including the right to curtail Receipts and Deliveries under Committed Firm Service pursuant to the terms of the TSAs, (i) for scheduled or unscheduled repairs, maintenance, modifications or improvements to the Joint Tariff Facilities, and/or (ii) by reason of a force majeure event.

  • The Committed Firm Service Rate paid by Committed Firm Shippers shall be a negotiated rate that is greater than the rate paid by Uncommitted Shippers (the “Uncommitted Rate”).

  • Within two (2) business days thereafter, each Committed Shipper that wishes to elect Committed Firm Service for such Proration Month must submit a revised Nomination that specifies the quantity so elected, not to exceed the Committed Volume or Shipper MDQ, as applicable.

  • The rate for Committed Firm Capacity shall be the Committed Firm Service Rate set forth in the Rates Tariff and the TSA.

  • The volume elected by Committed Shippers to receive Committed Firm Service in accordance with Rule 27, up to each Committed Shipper’s Committed Volume or Shipper MDQ, as applicable, is exempt from the prorationing procedures set forth in this Rule 31 (“Exempt Volumes”).

  • Failure to submit a revised Nomination within two(2) business days will forfeit the Committed Shipper’s right to elect Committed Firm Service for such Proration Month; provided, however, that, in the event of a mid-month capacity interruption pursuant to Rule 31(i), such two (2) business day period shall run from the date Carrier provides notice to Committed Shippers of such capacity interruption and its impact on previously-approved Nominations.

  • Carrier shall have the right to interrupt Receipts and Deliveries of Shipper’s Crude Petroleum, including the right to curtail Receipts and Deliveries under [N] Committed Firm Service pursuant to the terms of the TSAs, (i) for scheduled or unscheduled repairs, maintenance, modifications or improvements to the Joint Tariff Facilities, and/or(ii) by reason of a force majeure event.

  • Dakota Connection is offering Committed Firm Service applicable to the additional Origination Points.

Related to Committed Firm Service

  • Payment Initiation Service Provider or “PISP” means an authorised third party provider which provides a service that allows that third party to pass payment instructions to us on your behalf in relation to your Account.

  • payment initiation service means a service to initiate a payment order at the request of the payment service user with respect to a payment account held at another payment service provider;

  • Extended school year services means special education and related services that are provided to a child with a disability and meet the standards of the State of Wisconsin. These services are provided beyond the normal school year of the local educational agency, in accordance with the individualized education program (IEP), and at no cost to the parents of the child.

  • Support Service means an activity, such as information technology, accounting, human resources, legal, and other support functions that are required to support the ongoing delivery of core services.

  • Committed Shipper means a Shipper that has contracted for transporting a Committed Volume or otherwise paying the applicable Shortfall Payment, pursuant to the terms of a TSA executed by the Shipper during the open commitment periods that commenced on October 3, 2011, January 4, 2012, and December 21, 2018.

  • Bus Service means regularly scheduled public transit service operating with limited stops using a fixed route.

  • Committed dose equivalent (HT,50) means the dose equivalent to organs or tissues of reference (T) that will be received from an intake of radioactive material by an individual during the 50-year period following the intake.
